Welcome to For The Love of Traveling. I’m Alexa and I am the woman behind this exciting travel blog. Let me tell you about myself. When you think about a travel blogger, you might think someone who travels the world with her backpack and lives in places where their feet take them. But not me. I live in Putnam Valley, New York, with my loving husband, and I actually have a full-time office job. So how on earth do I have a travel blog and a full-time office job? Well, I have a passion for traveling but I also have a passion for my work.
You see, I graduated with a degree in Psychology at St. Thomas Aquinas College. I also have a Masters in Mental Health Counseling at Mercy College Alumni. I’ve worked in HR for many years and currently, I am the Medical Office Manager at Envision Dental Care in Putnam Valley, New York. As you can see, I have my hands full, so how do I travel? Well, there’s always the weekends, long holidays, company holidays, vacation days, and compressed workweeks. With my passion for traveling, I always find a way to discover new places when I have the chance. And I take every chance I get.

So yes, it is very much possible to keep traveling while also having a full-time day job. If I can do it, you can, too. If you don’t know how or where to start, then you’ve come to the right place.
